Energy and Natural Resources Consultants Limited (ENReC Limited) is committed to achieving the highest Health and Safety standards throughout her activities by providing safe and healthy reliable working conditions to prevent work-related injuries or illnesses to her employees, clients and other involved parties and stakeholders.

We are also committed to the continual improvement of our Operational Health and Safety Management System with the aim of eliminating hazards and reducing all Operational Health and Safety risks to as low as reasonably possible.

Statement of Intent

ENReC Limited is committed to ensuring the health and safety of all its employees, customers, contractors, and visitors. We all commit to demonstrating HSE Leadership and Target Zero Incidents, zero harm to people, business, and the environment. We aim to provide a safe and healthy working environment that meets or exceeds the legal requirements as well as industry standards. We recognize that health and safety is an integral part of our business performance, and we are dedicated to continuous improvement in this area.

The overall responsibility for health and safety in ENREC Limited lies with the Managing Director. He will:

  • Ensure that adequate resources are allocated for health and safety matters.
  • Ensure that health and safety policies and procedures are implemented and reviewed regularly.
  • Ensure that health and safety risks are identified and controlled.
  • Ensure that health and safety training and information are provided to all employees.
  • Ensure that health and safety performance is monitored and reported.
  • Ensure that health and safety incidents are investigated, and corrective actions are taken.
  • Consult with employees and their representatives on health and safety matters.
  • Liaise with external agencies and authorities on health and safety issues.

All employees of ENReC Limited have a duty to:

  • Comply with the health and safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow the instructions and guidance given by the employer and the person(s) responsible for health and safety.
  • Report any health and safety hazards, incidents, accidents, injuries, or illnesses.
  • Use the health and safety equipment and facilities provided.
  • Attend the health and safety training and information sessions.
  • Cooperate with the employer and other employees on health and safety matters.

ENReC Limited has the following arrangements in place to achieve its health and safety policy aims:

  • Risk assessment: We will conduct and review the risk assessments for all our work activities and premises and implement the necessary control measures to eliminate or reduce the risks to an acceptable level.
  • Training and information: We will provide all our employees with adequate health and safety training and information, relevant to their roles and responsibilities, and keep records of their attendance and completion. We will also display and distribute the health and safety notices, posters, leaflets, and other materials to inform and remind our employees and visitors of the health and safety rules and procedures.
  • Equipment and facilities: We will provide and maintain the health and safety equipment and facilities, such as fire extinguishers, first aid kits, personal protective equipment, ventilation, lighting, etc., and ensure that they are suitable, sufficient, and accessible. We will also inspect and test the health and safety equipment and facilities regularly and keep records of their maintenance and repair.
  • Monitoring and reporting: We will monitor and measure our health and safety performance and compliance, using various methods, such as audits, inspections, surveys, checklists, etc. and keep records of the results and actions taken. We will also report and record all the health and safety incidents, accidents, injuries, and illnesses, and notify the relevant authorities and parties as required by law.
  • Investigation and correction: We will investigate and analyze all the health and safety incidents, accidents, injuries, and illnesses, and identify the root causes and contributing factors. We will also take corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence and improve our health and safety performance.
  • Consultation and communication: We will consult and communicate with our employees and their representatives on health and safety matters and encourage their feedback and suggestions. We will also liaise and cooperate with external agencies and authorities on health and safety issues and comply with their requirements and recommendations.
  • Client’s Safety Management System: We would adhere to Client’s Safety Policies and Practices

This health and safety policy will be reviewed and updated annually or whenever there are significant changes in our business activities, legislation, or best practices. Any changes will be communicated to all our employees and other interested parties.
